Doggywood Grooming Salon in County Wicklow was opened in August 2012. Nicola opened her grooming salon because she loves working with animals. Nicola has a fully furnished grooming salon with the latest equipment. Nicola named it Doggywood, to make it like a dog’s Hollywood. ‘Where dogs get the star treatment’ Nicola has always had dogs and wanted to work with animals, when she started grooming she new it was the job for her. Nicola’s passion for opening her own grooming salon came about when she got an old English Sheep Dog. She couldn’t bear the thoughts of sending her dog somewhere to be groomed incase its wasn’t treated the way in which she would like it to be. Nicola treats every dog like it’s her own.
