In 2008, Rachel decided to change career and become a Dog Groomer. She graduated from her initial training course with Ann Collins of the Grooming Pad in 2008. In late 2008 She opened Rachels Clip n Tails in Ballinteer. She then opened her second salon in 2011, Clip n Tails Blackrock. She entered her first Dog grooming competition in 2009, and placed 3rd from 17 competitors. Since then she has entered colouring competitions and in 2010 placed 4th. This experience has helped her to develop an eye for detail, balance, scissoring and breed personality in my everyday grooming. Currently she is studying for her Advanced Certificate in Dog Grooming – City and Guilds Level 3. she is also a qualified canine first responder, so you can be assured your dog will be safe with Rachel.
